Apparatus This site is a compilation of the evolution of Houston's different types of fire apparatus from 1836 to 1950. Every picture can by found elsewhere in the history section, but not compiled in this manner. It reduces research time of the archives for the evolution of Houston's fire apparatus by types. The final subject is called Odd Apparatus and consists of one-of-a-kind apparatus in Houston or a unique apparatus found in other fire departments.
