The Houston Fire Museum

The Houston Fire Museum was founded in 1982 to preserve the legacy and history of the Houston Fire Department and promote fire safety education and fire prevention in the Houston community.

We are housed in historic firehouse No. 7, an original fire station for the City of Houston. It was opened in 1899 and was an active duty fire station until 1969.
