Visitor Information

The Houston Fire Museum has reopened its doors, and we warmly welcome you to visit!
We recently completed a $5.7M building preservation project. The Museum’s home, “Old 7’s,” a station built in 1899, has been closed for the past four years.
Come see firsthand how it has been restored to its original beauty with added modern conveniences.
Exhibits are limited to highlight the masonry, woodwork, and window restorations of this historic gem.

Junior Firefighter Station
The Junior Firefighter Station is open to the public Tuesday thru Saturday.
Meet Ignacio, our life-size Lego Firefighter, play a Fire Drill game, suit up in bunker gear and slide down a fire pole, and learn fire safety from a virtual firefighter.
Children's Parties are held in the adjoining private Party Room.

Birthday Parties
Book a birthday party in our private party room Tuesday thru Saturday.
Private rental of the entire museum for Children's Parties is available after hours and on Sundays. Email bookings@houstonfiremuseum.org to book a private party.
